The Legislative Process

Description: The highly anticipated Legislative Session begins January 7th. This ILG webinar will provide you with the tools to get familiar with the legislative process and how to find the legislative information you need as well as tips on how to engage with lawmakers. Aaron Birst and Donnell Preskey will also highlight some of the big legislative issues counties will be facing. 
Note for Commissioners, Treasurers and Recorders: This webinar completes your "Legislative Process" training requirement. (Training Requirements are set by your Member Associations.)

CEG Monthly Safety Moment: Shift Work Sleeping Disorder

Shift work presents a number of safety and health challenges, including Shift Work Sleeping Disorder (SWSD). First Glimpse: 2024 NDIRF Performance Review

Local Government Capitol Connection

Bismarck Event Center + State Capitol

NDACo, along with our local government partners from the ND League of Cities, ND Recreation and Parks, ND School Boards & ND Townships are putting together a joint event during the Legislative Session. This will replace the NDACo County Day. The event is scheduled for Feb. 18 & 19th and will be held at the Bismarck Event Center with a legislative social being held Feb. 18th. We will be inviting all our county members to attend. NDACo will start to get the word out about this event and include the attached save the date in future marketing to members. Below is the tentative agenda.
