The effects of an accident or potential misuse can have widespread and deadly consequences, even at some place seemingly as safe as a local restaurant.

This webinar will cover some of the recommended program requirements and best practices counties can adopt to ensure employees can safely work around chemical hazards. You will get a brief overview of the OSHA Hazcom standard to be used as a framework to designing and auditing your county’s chemical safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. This webinar is designed to be a starting point and provide a basic overview of hazard communication strategies, and does not require any previous training or experience. Questions are welcomed!
