ND Compass - A Tool to Improve Your Community

Wednesday, March 16   10am - 11am, CT

Description: We all know that it is better to make decisions based on accurate data and information. Yet, we often make decisions based entirely on intuition. Is that because we don’t have the data we need? Or because we don’t have data experts on staff to present the data in a meaningful way? Or maybe we need help in using data to further our organization or community mission and goals? For grant writing, program planning, needs assessment, and community planning and development we need accessible, approachable and actionable data. Data adds credibility; it allows comparisons; and it adds value to what we are already doing. This webinar will present a resource for your data needs, North Dakota Compass (ND Compass). ND Compass will help you use reliable, accurate, and unbiased data to make better informed decisions, to set goals, plan interventions, and evaluate progress. This will help planning to create better communities for present and future generations.
